Nicole Cooper is the Director of the Program Management team at EFI and leads a team of nine Program Managers who directly interface with EFI’s clients to manage dozens of incentive programs. Ms. Cooper has been with EFI’s Program Management team since 2009, bringing valuable experience in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy through her work with the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust. She brings to the team exceptional client relations knowledge in addition to strong program and financial management skills.
Prior to her work at EFI, Ms. Cooper worked for the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative where her work with the Renewable Energy Trust was focused on administering grants, loans and rebates for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects throughout Massachusetts. Her work there coincided well with EFI’s processes since she was responsible for reviewing applications, processing invoices and tracking deliverables for awards and contracts for multiple programs. Ms. Cooper also worked as a grant administrator for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts and the Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation both in Boston, MA. Ms. Cooper started her career at the international think tank, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace focusing on international trade relations.
Ms. Cooper earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations at the University of San Diego, as well as a Master of Arts degree in International Relations at Boston University. She is an avid photographer and loves to travel; she spends much of her free time taking photos of her children and pets and their family adventures.
