Personal and order information entered by customers on our consumer storefront (energyfederation.org) is stored on our Secure Sockets Layer-enabled server using Geotrust Quick SSL 128-bit encryption, that provides among the strongest possible level of security currently available. While customer account information is stored for customers, credit card information is not stored with the customer account information.

When you visit the storefront site cookies and IP addresses are used to record your session. When you place an order we will ask you to establish an account containing basic contact information (name, address, e-mail, phone). This will be password-protected and stored for you to access if you decide to order again. The contact information you provide will only be used as it relates to your order. We email customers order confirmations, and sometimes need to contact customers relating to backordered product or undeliverable packages.

Energy Federation occasionally enters into affiliate relationships with other companies and organizations for whom we develop co-branded online stores or provide promotion codes that result in our reporting sales information specific to those stores or promtion codes, but only information related to orders originating from those client initiatives is shared. We do not sell our customer lists to other companies. We do not send unsolicited e-mails. We do not send unsolicited catalogs or direct mail pieces. We do not telemarket.
