This month we're celebrating our Director of Program Management, Nicole Cooper. Nicole has been with EFI for 10 years now, starting as a Program Manager and advancing from there to Senior Program Manager and, inevitably, Director.
While previous roles at other companies have not been in the energy efficiency space, Nicole has always been very conscientious about the environment and sustainability so when her career path led her to EFI, it seemed like the right fit.
Nicole's background is in International Relations and Economic Development and she had previously worked doing research on important topics related to developing countries. One of those areas that she was very passionate about was environmental sustainability and the impacts on vulnerable populations in developing countries - particularly with women.
At home, she spends most of her time with her family. Whether it's spending time outdoors (hiking, biking, camping, swimming, etc.) or competing in either a game of Super Mario Brothers or a full blown dance off, Nicole's family knows how to have fun. Nicole is also an avid photographer, capturing the memories at events for friends, family, and clients.
Nicole has made sure to bring her energy efficiency knowledge and routines home with her. Alongside her technologist husband, she has created a functional smart home using LED lights, Nest thermostats, and all kinds of other smart devices including plugs, TVs, door knobs, and more. You name it and Alexa can probably control it in our house! She claims.
So what are Nicole's biggest accomplishments in life thus far? With EFI, she is proud of the many client relationships that she has cultivated over the years as well as the many employees she has had the pleasure of mentoring and coaching over the years. As for outside of the office, Nicole glows with pride when she talks of her family and watching her children grow and evolve with each passing year.
You're such a fundamental member of the EFI team, Nicole! Thank you for all your constant hard work!

We are very excited to be able to combine the convenience of online shopping with the importance of energy and water efficiency. Customers can have a personalized shopping experience and know they are purchasing high-end products that will help them save energy and water.Steve Z. General Manager
We had just moved to our new home and really needed to shore up the heating system, figure out how we could afford new windows (they were original), and find out why our heat never stayed in the house. We worked with MassSave and EFI to assess our home, qualify for, and fulfill a heat loan. We were up and running with a new heating system, with a zero interest heat loan in about a week! This couldn't have been easier, and, to be honest, more needed. Thank you EFI and MassSave!Ryan D, Mass Save Marketplace Customer
We’re excited to partner with EFI! Using our existing programs, customers have saved millions of dollars in energy costs over the years. The PPL Marketplace certainly will add to those savings.Mary Ann M. Manager of PPL’s residential EE programs
We worked with EFI to create a product marketplace to offer our customer base an easy to use shopping portal. Our goal this year was to move 500K bulbs across all of our jurisdictions, and the EFI's marketplace and marketing expertise ensured that that number was hit by Q3. These guys know what they are doing, its just that simple.Ron S. Manager – Planning and Evaluation
I am always very happy with your service. I am proud that you want to help us save energy - I bought a ton of light bulbs. Thank you for being one of the few services I use that I can feel good about!Tracey Kitchens - Marketplace Customer
