Shopping cart abandonment when shoppers put items in their online shopping carts, but then leave before completing the purchase can be a headache for any online retailer. A friendly reminder can improve engagement, sales, and savings!
While our utility branded stores convert well above eCommerce averages, we regularly recommend deploying a reminder email one hour after an item has been left in a customer's cart. Since we deployed the reminder email, of the 15,000 emails sent, over 40,000 products were reclaimed. Our goal was to recover at least $1 million in abandoned cart product. To date, we are trending closer to $2.5 million!
