Paul Danehy became President of EFI in 2016 after serving as Vice President of Client Services and Sales since 2011.
During his time as Vice President, he has worked closely with strategic customers across the country to develop a number of energy efficiency initiatives including eCommerce, marketing engagement (kit) and direct install programs with some of the largest and progressive utility partners in the industry. Some examples are his work with Duke Energy, which is the largest electric power holding company in the U.S., to establish and maintain an online store where nearly 4 million residential customers can purchase a variety of energy-efficient lighting products at a discounted rate for their homes. In addition, he has executed strategic projects for some of the country's largest energy service companies like CLEAResult and Ecova and their clients.
Under Mr. Danehy's leadership over the past 4 years, EFI has doubled its revenues and expanded its reach in each of the 48 contiguous states.
Mr. Danehy's past work experience bridges several industries and companies, from a Project Engineer at Mobil Oil to National Manager at Gillette, Senior Director at ARAMARK and Vice President of Royal Sovereign. This diversity of experience developed him as an agile leader who has proven his ability to effectively lead teams and cross-functional organizations of over $100 million and over 100 employees.
Mr. Danehy earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, as well as a Masters of Business Administration Degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago. He enjoys running, completing over 10 marathons including the Boston Marathon. He lives in Franklin, MA with his wife, Diane, and their four children.
